The boys growing up

Well it's nearly a week, and so far so good. My little boy started Year 7 on Monday. What a change from Primary school. He has to wear a proper white shirt (ouch I can't do my top button up Mum), a tie (glad he has worked out how to do this blasted thing up, cause I can't), a blazer (oh he looks so spiffy) and the black leather lace up shoes (where's my runners gone arrrrr). Today he was so wrapped, it's PE and he gets to wear his sports uniform... yippee Shorts, Polo shirt and runners (yeah). Oh but he does look so grow up, plus he is now closer to 5ft 10in, omg, when will he stop growing.
The arm is on the mend, he still has the arm guard, they have said probably by the start of March it will be fully mended. He is itching to get back to swimming properly, instead of going up and down the pool will the kick board. Well guess that's whats happens when your Muscles been cut, he was just lucky it wasn't tendons or nerves.
